It gives HCS and HCBS providers the cleaner source record those systems depend on: shifts, staff identity, service notes, signatures, home assignment, geofenced clock-in addresses, supervisor approval, and date-range exports. The residential services Sereniq documents (HCS Residential Support, HCBS Supervised Living, Host Home) are EVV-exempt in Texas.
Texas EVV searches usually start when something breaks: a claim question, a missing staff identifier, or a billing question that forces the agency to reconstruct what happened weeks ago. The EVV system may hold visit data for the services that require it, but the agency still needs a defensible documentation trail behind every residential service.
Sereniq keeps that trail organized before the billing problem starts. DSPs clock in from the mobile app, write service notes, document MAR and incidents, and submit work for supervisor review. Administrators can filter by individual, home, staff, program, date range, and record type when an internal billing review or an HHSC surveyor asks for evidence.
